Salesforce Tower
Salesforce at Spencer Place
Architects’ Henry J Lyons and Consulting Engineers Axis Engineering have designed the greenest Salesforce Tower in the world, right here at Spencer Place Dublin. The building, which is the first in Ireland to achieve 100% WiredScore, brings all Salesforce employees together in a campus of four interconnected buildings in the vibrant Silicon Docks area, right on the river Liffey.
The new development will be one of the most sustainable offices Ireland has ever seen, as they pursue double LEED v4 Platinum certification, Net Zero Carbon certification, and the project will be one of the first commercial occupied nZEB (nearly Net Zero Energy Building) in Dublin.
Leed Platinum Certification.
Salesforce Tower Dublin is one of the most sustainable office campuses in Ireland and one of Salesforce’s most sustainable building projects to date. The building is double LEED Platinum with both the building itself LEED v4 Core and Shell Platinum Certified and Salesforce is pursuing LEED v4 Commercial Interiors Platinum Certification and ILFI Net Zero Carbon Certification.
The all electric building will be one of the first commercial occupied nZEB (nearly Net Zero Energy Building) in Dublin and will source 100% renewable energy. It was as part of this search for sustainable excellence that Axis Engineering Consulting Engineers to specify Diffusion Fan Coils which were ably installed by Winthrop (Cat A) and DMG Engineering for final fit out.
Diffusion Fan Coils SFPs
With Diffusion fan coil units you get the benefit of the best sfp’s (specific fan powers) in the market.
Diffusion’s ultra low sfp’s are the result of long term co-operation between Diffusion and the German fan manufacturers EBM. This has led to the development of a range of fans specifically designed to match to the requirements of each size of fan coil unit and resulting in the lowest possible electrical energy used (watts) for each litre/second of air generated.
Future Proofing
Furthermore, while most fan coils on the market have a lifespan of 15 – 20 years, with Diffusion it has always been their philosophy that there is no need to replace any of their FCUs. We are presently engaged with updating fans and coils on units that are over 20 and even 30 years old, upgrading them with the most efficient fans and coils that today’s technology can provide.
In the meantime, the client benefits from the true flexibility in control and comfort levels that only a fan coil units can provide.
